Cornell students in grades 3-6 qualify for the after school tutoring program first based on PSSA and benchmark sores. Students are later invited to the program on teacher recommendation should seats become available. This program is specially designed to help your child build Math and Reading skills needed to succeed in the classroom.
The After School Tutoring program is truly a terrific opportunity to help your child enhance his or her academic achievement. This program is funded by The Cornell School District, so it costs nothing to attend. Your child will also be transported home from the Cornell Elementary School.
The tutoring program is estimated to begin in October for grades 3 - 6 and will meet Monday through Thursday. Students will receive two days of reading support and two days of math support. The program is estimated to concludes in March of each year.
